The City of Lucena

Last August 2009, I was given the opportunity to visit Lucena City for 1 week. I called up my friends in Lucena to informed them that I will be going to there town. Well, Lucena City was originally a barrio of Tayabas town, then the capital of the Province of Tayabas (now Quezon) which was explored by Captain Juan de Salcedo in 1571 & 1572.

The City of Lucena is a first class highly urbanized medium sized city in the province of Quezon, Philippines. And belongs to the 25 most competitive cities of the Philippines. The town was founded by the Franciscan fathers, Juan de Plasencia & Diego de Oropesa between 1580 & 1583.

With old time friends

In my 1 week vacation in the city had most of my time out in the hotel. Never I wasted a moment to visit the beautiful spots like the Office of the Governor, parks, radyo natin radio station and beaches. It was like there is no more tomorrow for me. lol. My friends were inviting me to party with them. I met a new friends (Agie D), not to mention his a good looking guy.Very gentleman and sweet. 


One occasion, I was invited to attend a fiesta in lucban. I asked my friend if they can drop me. Agie volunteer himself to drove me to the place. While we were inside the car. Sitting beside him makes me the queen of all queens. lol Many thoughts rotates on my mind like asking him if he has a girlfriend or what are his favorite food and color. The normal questions that you wanna know from your admirer.     


Well, my last day were very sentimental and romantic. I did not expect a new friend will send me bouquet of red roses to my hotel room. I felt so special and hot?!!! Well, to conclude I had so much fun with my long time friends and new friends that I met in Lucena. Thank you for accommodating me. You guys will always be forever in-printed in my heart. Love you so much and God bless you always.
